Valentine Sazykin: «If Russia gets money for the development of new technologies, the world will gasp in 5 years»

Valentine V. Sazykin, the Director General of Sintezkauchuk Association, tells in his interview to The Chemical Journal about the investment climate, natural monopolies and problems of synthetic rubber industry. The development of this industry is slowed down by the lack of ethylene-producing facilities that could supply the synthetic rubber industry with its basic feedstock – butadiene. Moreover, new technologies are introduced very slowly due to the lack of investments and the specifics of Russian monetary policy.
